The bathroom door in your house is easily damaged? Let’s first identify the door material for your bathroom. The bathroom door is often damaged by splashing water. 1. Wooden Door

Wooden doors are more susceptible to splashing water. Frequently splashed, the door becomes damp, then rots, and crumbles. Damage usually starts from the bottom because this is the part that is most often and for a long time exposed to water. If the door is rotten and destroyed, the easiest way is to replace the door leaf and frame a new one. Therefore, wooden doors are not suitable for small bathrooms. You can also layer it with a waterproof material, such as acrylic, fiber, or aluminum, on the inside facing the bathroom.

2. Aluminum Door


Aluminum is a material that is water and corrosion resistant. As a bathroom door, it is an assembly that integrates with the frame. The waterproof and anti-corrosion properties of aluminum allow this material to be used as a bathroom door. But aluminum is not the best choice as a bathroom door. Aluminum is more susceptible to scratches and dents. In addition, during the opening and closing process, over time it will cause a loud creaking sound. The precision of the door is also easy to change due to loose or loose hinges or rivets.

3. Vinyl or PVC doors


Vinyl is similar to plastic or PVC. This material is waterproof, anti-corrosion, quiet, and has a better artistic value than aluminum. The surface can also be coated with other materials, such as takons of various motifs and colors. The price of doors made of vinyl is relatively low. It does not require finishing, and maintenance is easy. This door blends the door leaf and the frame. As a bathroom door, vinyl can be used as an alternative to water-resistant and corrosion-resistant doors.

4. uPVC doors

uPVC door is one of the development products from PVC frames. PVC frames are usually used only as an indoor material because PVC is less strong and breaks easily. However, it is different with uPVC. The material which stands for Unplasticized Poly Vinyl Chloride is a plastic derived material, which minimizes its plastic properties so that it becomes hard (reduces flexibility), strong and sturdy.

uPVC doors have several advantages compared to other , for example, uPVC doors do not require special care, are non-corrosion and termite-resistant, weather-resistant, do not experience swelling and shrinkage (expansion), do not conduct heat and can reduce sound up to 40 dB.
